The Story Behind our Dog Easter Baskets: How Kaluha Pet Began

The first day of Spring finally arrived, and Easter is just around the corner! As dog parents, we all like to include our furry friends in holiday celebrations. Two years ago, I’d just adopted Chevy, our high-energy golden doodle, and I was excited to make him an Easter basket. After a long Google search attempt, I honestly couldn’t find anything that felt special. Everything online was either low quality, full of artificial treats, overpriced, or simply not designed with dogs or their owners in mind.

That’s when the beginning of a business idea started forming in my head/heart. As lifelong dog lovers, we wanted to create an affordable goody box filled with dog-safe, exciting, and delicious goodies—something I’d be excited to give Chevy. I shared the idea with my sister, and together, we created ✨Kaluha Pet✨. Now, every Easter season reminds us of the moment this business began!  

Our initiative has always involved shelter dogs because they are just as deserving as dogs who have found their forever homes! We donate a lot of time and money to individual shelter dogs, which is all possible because of our amazing Kaluha Pet community! Thank you ❤️
